Over 1700 Units of Mahindra Marazzo MPV Sold

Mahindra & Mahindra started dispatching the MPV to its dealerships in the first week of August, 2018.

Mahindra & Mahindra has retailed a total of 1,762 units of the all-new Marazzo MPV to its dealers in August, 2018. The 7-seater MPV went on sale on 3rd September, while the company started dispatching it to dealerships in the first week of August. Prices of the 7-seater Mahindra Marazzo start from Rs 9.99 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 13.90 lakh. The Marazzo is the brand’s first car to get a new 121.3bhp, 1.5L diesel engine co-developed by Mahindra and SsangYong.  The carmaker confirmed that it will also bring in the petrol and automatic iterations of the MPV in 2020. In August 2018, the home-grown carmaker registered total sales of 17,368 units as opposed to 17,609 units of the same month last year. The Mahindra Bolero, Scorpio and XUV500 were the major volume generator with sales of 6,030 units, 3,606 units and 2,078 units respectively. M&M is all set to launch the Rexton premium SUV in October, 2018. Prior to its launch, the carmaker has started dispatching the vehicle to its dealerships across the nation. In August 2018, the company retailed 27 units of the Rexton SUV to its dealers. Once launched, the new Mahindra 7-seater SUV will take on the upcoming Honda CR-V. It will also take on the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.
