Korean automaker, Hyundai will soon re-introduce the Santro nameplate in the Indian car market. The new model will be the brand’s entry-level model, which means Eon will be phased out in a near future. The new generation Santro will be the company’s first product to feature an AMT gearbox. This will be a 5-speed unit. The new AMT gearbox will be developed in-house by the manufacturer. – Launch Date & Booking

To be based on i10 platform, the new generation Santro will carry a crossover-ish design.
