TVS Motor Company has introduced a new platform – TVS intelligo (intelligent Stop & Go technology). The company claims that the new technology “aims at providing comfortable, convenient and an environment-friendly ride experience to TVS Motor Company customers.” This tech is offered on the Jupiter ZX Disc variant.
The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with TVS intelliGO is priced at Rs 72,347 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in two colour options – Starlight Blue and Royal Wine. The new TVS intelliGO tech enhances the riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions by intelligently switching off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops. The vehicle is ready to go by a simple throttle rev which enhances convenience. The technology also helps avoid fuel wastage during these stops and reduces emissions.
The TVS Jupiter is the first 110cc scooter in the industry to come with this TVS IntelliGo tech. The scooter is equipped with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology, which delivers 15% better mileage, better startability, refinement, and durability. The scooter has LED headlamp, 2-litre glove box, mobile charger and 21-litre storage. It gets adjustable shock absorbers for improved riding experience. It is powered by a 110cc engine producing 7.37bhp of power at 7,000rpm and a peak torque of 8.4Nm at 5,500rpm.
