Tata Motors has introduced the Tiago CNG AMT and Tigor CNG AMT in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.90 lakh and Rs 8.85 lakh, respectively. The Tiago CNG with AMT gearbox is available across four variants – XTA, XZA+, XZA+ dual-tone, and XZA NRG, priced at Rs 7.90 lakh, Rs 8.80 lakh, Rs 8.90 lakh, and Rs 8.80 lakh, respectively.
The Tigor CNG AMT XZA costs Rs 8.85 lakh, while the XZA+ is available at Rs 9.55 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi. Compared to their manual CNG counterparts, the Tiago iCNG AMT is nearly Rs 55,000 more expensive, and the Tigor iCNG AMT is approximately Rs 60,000 more expensive.

Notably, the Tata Tiago CNG AMT and Tigor CNG AMT are the first vehicles in India to combine automatic transmission with CNG fuel. Tata claims that the 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with the brand’s twin-cylinder CNG tech delivers a fuel efficiency of 28.06 km per kg. In addition to the CNG models, the company has introduced a new Tornado Blue color scheme for the Tiago hatchback, Grassland Beige for the Tiago NRG, and Meteor Bronze for the Tigor sedan. No other changes have been made to either vehicle.
