Tata Motors has launched the Dark Editions of its SUV range including the Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier and Safari. The new Tata Nexon Dark Edition is available at a starting price of Rs 11.45 lakh, while the Nexon EV Dark price starts at Rs 19.49 lakh. The Harrier and Safari Dark Editions prices start at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 20.69 lakh, respectively.
Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition
The Nexon EV Dark Edition is based on the top-spec Empowered+ LR trim. It is packed with a 40.5kWh battery pack that is claimed to offer an ARAI certified range of 465km in a single charge. The SUV was showcased to the public at the Bharat Mobility Show. The cabin of the SUV comes with all-black leatherette bolstered seats.
It is packed with SOS Calling function, Embedded Maps view in the digital instrument console, and a blind spot view monitor. The SUV also comes with Vehicle To Vehicle Charging and Vehicle To Load Technology. It also comes with 15+ in-built applications and a larger 31.24cm Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment unit.
Tata Nexon Dark Edition
Going by the prices, the Nexon Dark Edition is based on the mid-spec Creative trims and the top-spec Fearless variants. The SUV also shares the features with the regular variants. The SUV is packed with wireless charging, a touch panel for the automatic climate control, black leatherette seats and others.
The SUV is available with two powertrain options – a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual (petrol only), 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT (petrol & diesel) and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (petrol only).
