Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced its latest offerings, unveiling both the updated Yezdi Roadster and the new Jawa 42 dual-tone variant. With a price tag of Rs 2,08,829, the refreshed Yezdi Roadster takes the spotlight, while the Jawa 42 Dual Tone comes in at a price of Rs 1,98,142.
This launch has brought about a ripple effect on the pricing of other color variants in the Jawa 42 lineup and the existing Yezdi Roadster range, with starting prices now set at Rs 1,89,142 and Rs 2,06,142, respectively (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Yezdi Roadster has undergone significant changes aimed at enhancing rider comfort and touring capabilities. Key ergonomic upgrades include a forward shift of the footpegs by 155mm and the introduction of a taller handlebar. The design receives a sportier touch, featuring tank grips, diamond-cut alloy wheels, fresh handlebar grips, and mirrors mounted on the handlebars. Furthermore, it boasts new exhausts adorned with a matte black finish. Buyers will be delighted to choose from four new color options for the updated Yezdi Roadster: Rush Hour Red, Lunar White, Forest Green, and Shadow Grey.
Beneath these aesthetic enhancements lies the same dependable 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 29.5PS of power and 28.9Nm of torque. It’s noteworthy that the updated Yezdi Roadster will continue to coexist alongside the older model.
On the other hand, the Jawa 42 Dual Tone variant brings its own set of improvements to the table. It showcases clear lens indicators, redesigned fenders, a fresh fuel tank design, and an updated seat, all complemented by diamond-cut alloy wheels. Further enhancements include new handlebar-mounted mirrors, a revamped bash plate, and improved handlebar grips.
The Jawa 42 Dual Tone also benefits from longer rear shock absorbers, ensuring superior comfort, and boasts an increased ground clearance of 172mm, a step up from the standard Jawa 42’s 165mm. This variant presents an array of striking dual-tone color options, including Cosmic Rock, Infinity Black, Starship Blue, and Celestial Copper. For power, it uses the same 294.7cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 27.3PS of power and 26.8Nm of torque.
