Toyota has confirmed that the production version of the C-HR prologue will hit the European markets soon. The concept also confirms that Toyota is staying true to what made C-HR such a success. The new prototype also presents a more sophisticated expression of audacity. The vehicle has shorter overhangs and bigger wheels that enhance the overall styling of the crossover. The company claims that the new model will also offer practical roominess inside.

The Toyota C-HR prologue concept has static lines that shows departure from sharp to fluid design. It is expected that the production model will look largely identical to the C-HR prologue concept. The SUV has thinner and more cut headlights, and the front grille is smaller and looks like a mouth, and painted in black and cut out at the ends of the bumper. The side has strong creases that creates a “Y” shape on the front doors, and the rear door handle is placed in the corner of the lanterns.

The wheels are likely to be replaced with a smaller set-in production model. The hidden rear door handles are also likely to be replaced by a traditional form. The concept has camera mirrors for ORVMs, which are likely to be removed for the conventional mirrors.

The production version of the Toyota C-HR Prologue concept is expected to be offered with energy-recharging hybrid powertrain. The company is also planning to give a plug-in hybrid configuration with batteries produced in Europe.
