Mahindra XUV 3XO Vs XUV300 – How Different Are They?

Mahindra XUV 3XO has taken the internet by storm ever since its official announcement along with the 30 sec video teaser. Though, there is still some time left in the official debut of the SUV, which has been scheduled for Apr 29, the curiosity and anticipation is gaining momentum each day. The XUV 3XO is the successor to the XUV300 and comes with a host of cosmetic updates at the outside as well as inside the cabin. Let’s find out how different they are in terms of features.

  1. Panoramic Sunroof

The XUV 3XO will boast of a segment-first dual-pane panoramic sunroof, confirmed the official teaser. The XUV300 was also offered with a sunroof, but it was a single-pane unit. Hence, the XUV 3XO will be the first SUV in its segment to get this new feature

  1. Larger Touchscreen System

The XUV 3XO is expected to feature the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. It will also get voice commands and connected car tech. This touchscreen unit will be borrowed from the latest version of the all-electric Mahindra XUV400. As for the XUV300, it used to feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard.

Mahindra XUV 3XO features
  1. All-Digital Instrument Cluster

The ongoing model of the XUV300 carries a semi-digital instrument cluster which appears quite old-school and outdated. However, things will change drastically with the XUV 3XO as it will be introduced with a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster with an integrated navigation system. This feature, yet again, is borrowed from the Mahindra XUV400.

  1. Ventilated Front Seats

The XUV 3XO will be presented with ventilated front seats in order to project it as a premium offering. This feature could be offered with the top-end variants of the SUV. The XUV300 was deprived of ventilated seats but several other SUVs in the segment such as Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue come loaded with this feature.

  1. Wireless Charging

Last but certainly not the least, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will be equipped with wireless charging feature which was missing from the XUV300. The XUV400 EV also comes with this feature.
