Similar to the XUV300 AMT, the Marazzo’s AMT unit will come with manual mode and creep function. It is also expected to offer features such as hill start assist, kick-down shifts, adaptive pedal response and tap-to-switch. The XUV300’s AMT version also gets a feature that restrict car from moving in Auto or Manual mode if the doors are open.

The Mahindra Marazzo diesel is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine that also powers the XUV300. This engine is capable of producing 121bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. The new Marazzo AMT will be offered in 2 driving modes – Power and Eco – with power output of 122bhp and 99bhp respectively. The existing Marazzo diesel manual returns an ARAI certified fuel economy of 17.3kmpl. Expect similar figures for the diesel AMT version.
