Hero MotoCorp has relaunched the Vida V1 Plus at an attractive price tag of Rs 97,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company initially launched the electric scooter in two variants – V1 Plus and V1 Pro; however, the former was discontinued in just a few months. The Vida V1 Pro is available at a price tag of Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Vida V1 Plus is packed with a 3.44kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It is claimed to achieve a top speed of 80kmph and offers a real-world range of 100km in a single charge. The scooter claims to achieve 0-40kmph acceleration in just 3.4 seconds. The electric scooter has three riding modes – Eco, Ride and Sport.
The Vida V1 range comes fitted with a single electric motor that offers a continuous power output of 3.9kW, peak power of 6kW and a maximum torque output of 25Nm. The electric scooter comes with two 1.72kWh removable battery packs. The battery can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 5 hours and 15 minutes.
In terms of features, the Vida V1 Plus comes equipped with Follow me home headlamps, keyless entry, electronic seat & handle lock, cruise control, two-way-throttle for reverse & regen assist and incoming call alerts. The scooter also comes with connected tech via app, which offer features like turn-by-turn navigation, anti-theft alarm, track my bike, geofence, remote immobilisation, vehicle diagnostics and SOS Alert with a button. It is packed with a 7-inch TFT dash with auto dark and light mode.
For the braking system, the electric scooter comes with front disc and rear drum brakes with CBS (Combi-Braking System). The Vida V1 Plus rides on 12-inch Machined cast alloy wheels. The scooter has a ground clearance of 155mm and seat height of 780mm.
