Hero MotoCorp has showcased 7 new motorcycles & scooters including EV concepts at the 2023 EICMA Show. The company has also announced its entry into the European markets including the Spain, France and the United Kingdom, and the VIDA V1 PRO electric will be the first model to be launched in 2024. Hero MotorCorp has also revealed an all-new naked motorcycle concept, called the Hero 2.5R Xtunt Concept at the EICMA 2023.
This aggressive looking motorcycle is being positioned as a stunt bike. The concept motorcycle is built on the trellis frame that underpins the Karizma XMR. The new Hero 2.5R Xtunt is expected to enter the production line in the near future. This premium motorcycle will be sold through Hero’s new PREMIA dealership network.
Not just the frame, the new Hero 2.5R Xtunt naked streetfighter gets the same 210cc liquid-cooled engine that powers the Karizma XMR. This engine is capable of producing 25.5bhp and 20.4Nm of torque. The powertrain is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip and assist clutch. The motorcycle comes with telescopic front forks and an adjustable monoshock at the rear.
Hero claims that the aggressive looking streetfighter is designed for the “new-age thrill-seeker, a rider who craves an adrenaline-infused urban adventure.” The production version of the Hero 2.5R Xtunt will compete against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
Hero MotoCorp has also revealed a new sporty ADV Maxi scooter at the 2023 EICMA in Milan, Italy. This sporty looking maxi scooter is powered by a 156cc liquid cooled engine with enhanced i3s silent start tech (idle stop & silent start system). The scooter rides on 14-inch large wheels with block pattern wide tires, a Smart Key with keyless ignition, remote seat opening, smart find, and dual chamber LED headlamp & LED tail-lamp.
