Citroen C3X Interior Details Revealed In New Spy Image

Citroen India is gearing up to broaden its product lineup in the Indian market by introducing a brand-new crossover sedan that is presently undergoing rigorous testing within the country. Dubbed the Citroen C3X, this upcoming model is set to go head-to-head with rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus when it hits the Indian market in 2024. Recent glimpses into the interior have revealed some captivating details.

The Citroen C3X crossover sedan boasts a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a three-spoke steering wheel, vertical AC vents gracefully flanking the dashboard, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The infotainment unit is poised to offer seamless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Underpinning the forthcoming Citroen C3X is the modular CMP platform, akin to the one utilized by the brand’s other C-cubed models. It adopts a fastback design with a hint of SUV character and is anticipated to measure between 4.3 to 4.4 meters in length. Interestingly, the wheelbase is expected to mirror that of the C3 Aircross SUV.

At the front, the upcoming Citroen sedan will sport the familiar grille and headlamps featuring a split setup. Some of its style elements will be borrowed from the C3 Aircross SUV, encompassing front fenders, bonnet, and front doors. Notable design attributes include dual-tone alloy wheels, plastic cladding enveloping the body, a shark fin antenna, a discreetly blacked-out B-pillar, and new wraparound LED taillamps, all contributing to its distinctive crossover-inspired aesthetics.

In terms of power, the Citroen C3X will be equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic gearbox options. This powerplant, drawn from the Citroen C3, lays claim to a robust output of 110 bhp. There are also murmurs of a potential electric variant in the pipeline.

In addition to these exciting developments, the French automaker is rolling out enticing discounts for its existing models. Customers can avail a generous Rs 1 lakh discount on the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV. For those eyeing the premium Citroen C5 Aircross SUV, benefits of up to Rs 2 lakh await.
