Benelli 502C Cruiser Launch Price Rs 4.98 Lakh – 9 Key Details

The Italian two-wheeler maker has rolled out the Benelli 502C cruiser motorcycle in India at Rs 4.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the Leonino, the new cruiser is around Rs 30,000 more expensive. At this price point, it takes directly on the Kawasaki Vulcan S that costs Rs 6.04 lakh. Official bookings for the bike were opened a few weeks ago at an initial sum of Rs 10,000. Here’re 9 key details of Benelli’s new 50cc urban cruiser.

The 502C has been offered in two colour options – Matte Black and Matte Cognac Red.

Benelli 502C Bookings

For power, the new Benelli 502C uses the same 50cc parallel-twin engine that does duty in the Leoncino and TRK 502. The motor pushes out a peak power of 47.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.

Power is delivered to rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox and chain drive system.

The new Benelli cruiser bike comes equipped with the upside down telescopic fork upfront and coil spring oil damped rear suspension units. Braking duties are taken care of by 280mm dual discs at the front and 240mm single disc at the rear. The bike gets dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard feature.

Benelli 502C Top View

Design and styling of the Benelli 502C seems inspired by Ducati Diavel. Upfront, it carries LED headlamp with DRL and radiator grille.

It has curvy fuel tank with capacity of 21-litres.

The cruiser gets sporty black treatment on the engine, frame, wheels and side panels.

The exposed steel trellis frame, single piece saddle, engine guard, raised tail section and double barrel stainless exhaust pipes add more to its aggressive looks. The forward-set foot pegs and tall handlebars provide comfortable riding stance.

On the feature front, the new Benelli 500cc cruiser bike offers a fully digital instrument console and an adjustable clutch lever. The instrument cluster shows trip meter, odometer, speed, gear indicator, fuel gauge and rpm.
