Bajaj Pulsar N250, F250 Black Variants With Dual-Channel ABS Launched

Bajaj Auto has introduced the new all-black Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 variants with dual-channel ABS (antilock braking system). The new colour scheme is named – Brooklyn Black. It’s also available in the Bajaj Pulsar N160. Prices of the black Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 dual-channel ABS variants start from Rs 1,49,978 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes them around Rs 5,000 more expensive than the single-channel ABS variants. The bike model lineup is also available in Racing Red, Techno Grey and Caribbean Blue paint schemes.

No other changes have been made to the new Black Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 dual-channel ABS variants. Similar to the regular models, these are powered by a 249cc, oil-cooled, SOHC engine that delivers a maximum power of 24.5bhp and 21.5Nm of torque. For performing transmission duties, it has a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. The bike has been equipped with the conventional telescopic fork up front and rear monoshock suspension units. It derives braking power from a 300cc front and a 230cc rear disc brake.

Recently, the Pune-based two-wheeler maker introduced the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 with the segment-first dual-channel ABS system. The bike sits on a new platform and has been priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It sources power from a 165cc engine that makes a peak power of 16PS and 14.65Nm. It’s 85% of maximum torque is claimed to be available throughout the rev band. While its single-channel ABS variants are available in three colours (Blue, Red and Grey), the dual-channel model comes in a single black shade.

In other updates, Bajaj Auto aims to expand its electric two-wheelers range in coming years. The company will introduce multiple new e-bikes and scooters featuring different powertrain configurations across different price segment. Bajaj recently trademarked the Blade nameplate that’s likely to be used one of its upcoming e-scooter. It’s likely to come with a larger battery pack and a more powerful electric motor than the e-Chetak.
