Tata Motors has introduced a new model under its ‘New Forever’ range in Nepal – the Tata Tiago NRG. Launched in partnership with Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the hatchback has been priced from NPR 33.75 lakh onwards (which is around Rs 21 lakh).The new Tiago NRG is now on display and have been made available for test drive across the dealer network of Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd.
The carmaker says that it has been “designed specifically for young and dynamic customers seeking a sporty SUV-like performance from their hatchback”. Positioned as the ‘Urban Toughroader’, the Tata Tiago NRG carries an aggressive front visage and its claimed to give a tough road performance with a higher ground clearance. With Global NCAP 4-star adult safety rating, the hatchback is offered in 4 color schemes – Forest Green, Fire Red, Snow White, and Cloudy Grey.
Speaking on the launch of the all-new Tata Tiago NRG in Nepal, Mr. Mayank Baldi – Head PVIB, Tata Motors, said, “We’re elatedto launch the Tata NRG, aruggedversion of our much-loved hatchback, in Nepal. The new Tiago NRG comes packed with a host of features include a push start button, rear parking camera and auto fold ORVM to enhance its overall appeal. The automaker claims that the hatchback has “an amalgamation of the tough armored exterior and sporty charcoal black interiors” that “ensures robust safety and great convenience with enhanced abilities to take over rough terrains”. Under the hood, the Tata Tiago NRG employs a 1.2L Revotron engine that can be had with either a manual or an AMT gearbox.
