The Skoda Octavia, currently in its fourth generation in the global market, has recently undergone a mid-life update, which was revealed through official pictures. The carmaker has unveiled the updated hatchback and estate versions. The 2024 Skoda Octavia facelift showcases noticeably improved styling, enhanced safety and assistance systems, along with an increased share of sustainable materials inside the cabin.

Beginning with the cosmetic changes, the model features an updated front grille, revamped front and rear bumpers, new LED matrix beam headlights, new alloy wheels, and revised LED rear lights with animated indicators. The Octavia facelift is offered in four trims – Essence, Selection, Sportline, and RS, with nine interior design options. The incorporation of new and sustainable materials is visible on the seats, door panels, and dashboard.

As a standard feature on select variants, it includes a 10-inch digital display, while for the first time, a 13-inch infotainment system is offered as an option. All variants of the new 2024 Skoda Octavia facelift come equipped with the dual-zone Climatronic system. Starting from the Selection trim level, you get the 15-watt Phone Box, which allows for fast charging of smartphones and provides a cooling function. Compared to the previous model, the updated version offers three times more charging power with the USB-C ports delivering 45 watts of output. Additionally, the Octavia features the upgraded Kessy keyless vehicle access system for the first time.

Regarding engine options, the new Octavia is globally offered with six petrol (1.5L naturally aspirated, 1.5L turbo, 1.5L with mild-hybrid tech, 2.0L naturally aspirated, and 2.0L turbo) and two diesel (2.0L in two configurations) powertrains. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic.
