Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the OBD2 compliant 2023 Honda Livo in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 78,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in two variants – Drum and Disc – priced at Rs 78,500 and Rs 82,500 respectively. The motorcycle is offered in 3 color options – Athletic BLue Metallic, Matte Crust Metallic and Black.
Powering the Honda Livo is the same 109.51cc, air-cooled engine with fuel injection and ACG starter motor for a silent engine start. The motorcycle is now compliant with new BSVI Phase 2 emission norms or OBD2 compliant. It is capable of producing 8.67bhp of power and 9.30Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 4-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. For suspension duties, the 2023 Honda Livo gets telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the rear. The higher-spec variant gets front disc brake and rear drum brake, while the lower-spec model gets drum brake at both ends.
The new Honda Livo comes fitted with Integrated Engine Start/Stop switch, DC headlamp, a long & comfortable seat (657mm), a 5-step adjustable rear suspension, Combi-brake system (CBS) with equalizer, a service due indicator, a modern front visor, and new graphics. The overall styling of the motorcycle remains the same, but Honda has added new graphics on the fuel tank and on the headlamp cowl.
Honda is offering an impressive 10 years warranty package which includes three years of standard & a 7 years of optional extended warranty with the new Livo motorcycle. The motorcycle is positioned against the likes of the TVS Sport and the Hero Passion Xtec.
