TVS Motor Company has launched the new 2022 Apache RTR 200 4V in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1,33,840. It is available in two variants – Single-channel ABS and Dual-channel ABS – priced at Rs 1,33,840 and Rs 1,38,890 respectively.
The 2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V looks identical to the existing model; except for a minimal change to headlight. It comes with a new headlamp design with an integrated DRL (Daytime Running Lamp). The motorcycle looks similar to the Apache RTR 160 4V, which was launched earlier this year. The motorcycle retains the overall styling as well as engine specifications.
The new headlamp continues to glow changing its stance to a front position lamp (FPL) that functions with low and high beams. The motorcycle also comes with three ride modes – Sport, Urban and Rain along with an adjustable suspension set-up. The 2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is offered in 3 colour options – Gloss Black, Pearl White and Matte Blue.
The motorcycle has Showa front suspension that has a preloaded adjument allowing user to choose between different riding conditions. It comes with TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity that offers several data including race analytics and data to review the racing style.
The 2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V features adjustable brakes and clutch levers with 3-step adjustment. Powering the motorcycle is a 197.75cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, 4V, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.5PS of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 16.8Nm at 7,500rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
