The long-awaited 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift has finally been launched in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 16.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Crysta is offered in petrol and diesel guise, and seven-and eight-seat options. It is available in 4 trim levels – G, GX, VX and ZX.

Design Changes
– The new Innova Crysta facelift comes equipped with a new prominent trapezoidal-shaped piano black grille with chrome surround. The chrome merges well into the headlamps. The chrome surround along with aggressive bumper gives new Crysta a sharper front profile.
– The new MPV rides on newly-styled 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It also gets a new Sparkling Black Crystal Shine colour.
– Higher variants come equipped with LED fog lamps.
– 7 Color Options – Sparking Black Crystal Shine (New), White Pearl Crystal Shine, Garnet Red, Avant-garde Bronze, Silver, Super White and Grey.
Interior Changes
– The new Crysta’s top-end ZX variant comes with new camel tan colour upholstery, which further enhances the premium look of the cabin.
– It comes with a new and bigger touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. There are dedicated buttons for volume control and other operations.
– Toyota is also offering vehicle connectivity features as optional. It provide features like real-time vehicle tracking, last parked location, geofencing, etc.
– The updated MPV also comes equipped with front clearance sonar with MID display that prevents collisions while parking in tight spaces and provides safe driving.

Crysta G Variant – Black-Silver grille, halogen headlamps, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, cooled glove-box, manual air-conditioning, height-adjustable driver seat, black fabric seats, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, two 12V power outlets, 3 airbags, ABS with EBD, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), HSA (Hill Start Assist), Seat-Belt Reminder, etc.
Crysta GX Variant – Electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs with puddle lamps, speed sensing door lock and impact-sensing auto door unlock. It also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity.
Crysta VX variant – LED projector headlamps, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, chromed wing mirrors, chrome door handles, leather upholstery for steering and gear knob, automatic AC, cruise control, perforated leather seats and USB fast charging port.
Crysta ZX variant – eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, easy-slid passenger seat, Camel Tan perforated leather seats and 7 airbags.
Engine Options
– The petrol version of the Crysta facelift is powered by a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder engine that also powers the previous model. This engine is capable of producing 164bhp and 245Nm of torque.
– The oil burner is a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine, which churns out 148bhp of power and 343Nm of torque.
– Transmission choices include a five-speed manual unit or a six-speed automatic unit.
