India Yamaha Motor has finally revealed price of the YZF-R15 V3 MotoGP Limited Edition. Painted in ‘Yamaha Racing Blue’ shade, the Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition has been priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it around Rs 3,000 more expensive than the standard model. One can book the bike on Yamaha India’s official website with an initial sum of Rs 10,000.
Only limited units of the Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition will be sold across the nation. Deliveries will begin in September, 2018. Besides launching the R15’s limited edition, the bikemaker introduce the Yamaha FZS-FI in two new colour schemes – Matt Green and Darknight along with the standard Armada Blue. Visually, the Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition looks exactly identical to the regular model. However, it gets an ENEOS logo on the belly pan, the Movistar logo at the front and sides and M1-inspired graphics above the headlamp and fuel tank. The signature badge is finished in gold. No changes have been made at the engine front. The Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition comes propelled by the same 155cc, SOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine benefited with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. It delivers a top power of 19.3bhp and 15Nm of peak torque. Power is delivered via a 6-speed transmission with an additional slipper clutch.
