Great news for Yamaha MotoGP lovers in India! The Japanese two-wheeler maker will introduce the new Yamaha R15 V3 MotoGP edition in the Indian two-wheeler market in August. The new R15 Version 3.0 will be offered with Yamaha’s Blue colour, which is seen on the factory MotoGP motorcycles.
The Yamaha R15 V3.0 MotoGP edition will also get the Movistar logo on the front and sides along with an ENESOS logo on the belly pan. The Yamaha R15 MotoGP edition is already on sale in select Southeast Asian markets. Besides these updates, the bike will remain similar to the stock model. Powering the new R15 MotoGP edition is the same 155.1cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is claimed to be more refined than the old unit. It can deliver 19.04bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.7Nm of torque at 8,500rpm. Also See – New Yamaha R15 V3.0 Vs Old R15
The new R15 V3.0 is retailed at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is being offered in two paint schemes – Thunder Grey and Racing Blue. We believe that the upcoming MotoGP Edition will come at a premium price tag of around Rs 1.30 lakh.
