Yamaha FZ V3.0 To Get A More Powerful Engine Next Year – Report

Yamaha Motor India recently introduced the 2019 model year of its popular FZ motorcycle range. The updated lineup receives subtle cosmetic and feature upgrades, while the engine remains unchanged. Just so you know, the Yamaha FZ 3.0 ABS is the least powerful motorcycle in its segment.

According to a fresh media report, the Japanese bikemaker will introduce a more powerful version of the Yamaha FZ sometime next year. Currently, the company is working on a new engine that will meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The new motor will also be better in terms of performance. New 2019 Yamaha FZ D FI Specs

The 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 comes with a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine generating power worth 13bhp at 8000rpm and 12.8Nm of peak torque at 6000rpm. The updated model of the bike sits on a revised sub-frame and features new LED headlamp, re-sculpted fuel tank with tank shrouds and new exhaust muffler. Other key changes include raised handlebar, LCD instrument console and single-piece seat. Read – Future Yamaha Bikes To Have RX100 Traits

The 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 comes with a price tag of Rs 95,000 and FZ-S V3.0 is made available at Rs 97,000. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The updated FZ V3.0 model lineup comes in a choice of five colours – Metric Black, Matt Black, Gray and Cyan Blue, Racing Blue and Dark Matt Blue.
