After receiving a positive response for FZ25 naked streetfighter, Yamaha India is now planning to launch a range of new motorcycles and scooters in the country in the next 2 years. Delhi Auto Expo 2018 event will witness some of the interesting bikes and scooters by the Japanese makers starting from the long-awaited Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 to Nozza Grande scooter. Yamaha R15 V3.0

The long-awaited R15 Version 3.0 will be showcased alongside other Yamaha Bikes at Auto Expo 2018. Yamaha has already dispatched the fully-faired motorcycle to dealerships for training purposes. Bookings for the bike are expected to commence from February 2018, while launch could take place at the biennial event itself. It will be the most powerful 150cc motorcycle in the Indian market. Featuring all-new body design, the new R15 V3.0 is aggressive in design and more powerful than the previous model.

Powering the motorcycle is a new 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Timing. This engine is capable of producing 19.04bhp of power and 14.7Nm of torque. The bike is already on sale in select international markets, but India-spec model will miss out on several high-end features. While the global model comes with Upside down front forks, slipper clutch and ABS model, India-spec model will get telescopic forks and disc brakes. The motorcycle sits on a shorter wheelbase and the engine is benefited with the VVA, which will improve the overall performance of the bike. Some of the design highlights include a new dual-split LED headlights with middle air-inlet, LED rear lights, new digital instrument console with blue colour backlights and sculpted fuel tank. It comes equipped with a newly developed fairing and twin-seat layout.
