WagonR Inspired Maruti Futuro-E Concept Rendered
We have reported earlier that Maruti Suzuki might unveil an all-new electric vehicle concept at the Auto Expo in February, 2020. Called the Maruti Futuro-E, the concept could be based on the WagonR hatchback or the S-Presso mini SUV. Though it’s still unconfirmed whether the Futuro-E will share its underpinnings with aforementioned cars.
Here’s a latest digital rendering that shows what the WagonR based Maruti Futuro-E concept could look like. Similar to the WagonR, the new electric vehicle concept carries tall-boy stance with upright design elements.
The front fascia looks quite futuristic with squarish headlamps, wide bumper, small grille and hood. The side profile has been adorned by squarish wheel arches, large alloy wheels with blue highlights and roof rails. Rumour has it that the Maruti Futuro-E based electric vehicle will be made available for fleet market and government officials. The pre-bookings for the private buyers are likely to be commenced sometime in 2021.
