Volkswagen India has rolled out the new trims of the Polo hatchback and Vento sedan. Available on select variants, the Volkswagen Polo Pace and Volkswagen Vento Sport come with a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades. The latter one comes with three engine options – 1.2L TSI, 1.6L MPI and 1.5 TDI – priced at Rs 12.79 lakh, Rs 11.44 lakh and Rs 12.79 lakh (MT) and Rs 14.17 lakh (AT) respectively.
Positioned above the Highline Plus trim, the Volkswagen Vento Sport comes with a sales benefit of Rs 1.20 lakh. Furthermore, the company is offering exchange and loyalty benefits up to Rs 20,000. Prices of the Volkswagen Polo Pace are still under the wraps. Read – Upcoming Volkswagen Cars in India
Talking about the Volkswagen Polo Pace, this new variant features a new set of 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. No other updates have been made to the car. On the other hand, the Volkswagen Vento Sport gets six new features including glossy black carbon finish ORVM, chrome badge ‘Sport’ on fender, glossy roof foil, stylish side foils and 16-inch Portago alloy wheels. Engine setup of the sedan includes a 1.2-litre TSI petrol, a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre TDI diesel. While the power and torque figures of the petrol units stand at 103bhp with 175Nm (1.2L) and 153Nm (1.6L), the oil burner delivers 103bhp with 250Nm of torque.
