Volkswagen Vento Sport Introduced In India; Gets New Features

German premium carmaker, Volkswagen has silently launched the new VW Vento Sport variant in the Indian car market. Though, prices of the car are yet to be announced by the automaker. The new model looks largely identical to the regular variant; however, it comes equipped with new features to offer refreshing look.

The new Volkswagen Vento Sport is now equipped with carbon-fibre finish outside rear view mirrors, chrome ‘Sport’ badge on the front fenders, black side foils and gloss black roof foil and rear spoiler. Volkswagen is yet to reveal full details of the VW Vento Sport. It is equipped with full LED headlamps with daytime running lights. It is expected that the new variant is based on the range-topping Highline Plus grade. The new model will share most of the features with the Highline variant, which includes electrically foldable and adjustable wing mirrors, chrome treatment inside the cabin, leather upholstery for seats, steering wheel and gearshift knob, and a touchscreen infotainment system and rear parking camera. Volkswagen Vento Sport is expected to share the engine with the regular model. The regular model is available with a 1.6L MPI petrol engine, a 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine and a 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine.
