Volkswagen T-Roc SUV Launch Price Rs 19.99 Lakh – Key Features
Volkswagen T-Roc SUV has finally been launched in the Indian market. The SUV comes in a single, fully-loaded variant priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The carmaker has brought it here via completely built up (CBU) route and will retail it in limited units. Prior to its official launch, the T-Roc received over 300 bookings.
Under the hood, the all-new Volkswagen T-Roc employs a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Boosted with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), the motor produces a maximum power of 147bhp and a peak torque of 250Nm. It can achieve 100kmph from standstill in 8.4 seconds and attain a top speed of 205kmph. The SUV is offered with VW’s 4Motion drivetrain system.

On the safety front, the Volkswagen T-Roc offers 6 airbags, traction control,MSR (motor slip regulation), ABS (anti-lock braking), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and electronic differential lock and ESP (electronic stability programme).
Some of its design highlights include LED headlamps with LED DRLs (daytime running lights), 17-inch alloy wheels, signature bumper with mounted trapezoidal DRLs and LED tail lamps. The SUV measures 4229mm in length and sits on a 2595mm long wheelbase.
The Volkswagen T-Roc comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Vienna leather seats, a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone automatic climate control add more to its comfort quotient. It also gets a digital instrument cluster.
