Volkswagen India is ready to bring in its two new SUVs in March, 2020. While the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace 7-seater SUV is slated launch on 6th March, the Volkswagen T-Roc will hit showrooms on 18th March.

Official bookings of both models have already been commenced across the country. In India, the T-Roc will come via Completely Built Up (CBU) route at an estimated price of around Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Volkswagen T-Roc will be offered in 6 colour options – Energetic Orange with Black Roof, Indium Grey with Black Roof, Pure White with Black Roof, Ravenna Blue with Black Roof, Curcuma Yellow with Black Roof and Deep Black Purple. The SUV scored 5 star safety rating in Euro NCAP crash test. Equipped with several safety features and driver assistance system, it meets the most stringent safety standards.

The global-spec model gets lane assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind spot monitor and rear parking camera as standard safety fitments. The T-Roc measures 4.2m in length and sits on VW Group’s flexible MQB platform.

The SUV features LED headlamps with LED DRLs (daytime running lights), 17-inch alloy wheels and LED taillamps. Cabin has a conventional dashboard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV also offers a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, an in-car connectivity suite and wireless charging. At the heart of the Volkswagen T-Roc will be a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The gasoline motor delivers a claimed power of 150bhp and a peak torque of 250Nm. The SUV will come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It will be capable to achieve 100kmph from 0 in 8.4 seconds, while maintaining a top speed of 205kmph.
