Toyota Kirloskar Motor is gearing up to roll out the all-new Innova Hycross and the updated Innova Crysta MPVs in the country. The carmaker has already confirmed that the new Toyota Innova Hycross will go on sale in January. Its prices are slated to announce at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo in the second week of the next month. According to a latest media report, the updated 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta will witness a market launch in February. It will be sold alongside the Innova Hycross. Minor changes are expected to be made to its exterior and interior.
Speculations are on rife that the new 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta could be offered with the 2.7L, 4-cylinder petrol engine and CNG fuel options. The MPV’s CNG version will be aimed at both the fleet market and private buyers. The 2.4L turbo diesel engine will also be on offer. The motor, which is currently not on sale, delivers a claimed power of 148bhp and 360Nm of torque.
The Japanese automaker aims to manufacture around 2,000 – 2,500 units/month of the new Innova Crysta from February 2023. Reports suggest that the MPV model lineup will be offered in lower grades only including G, G+ and GX. The top-end VX and ZX trims will be discontinued. Prices of the new 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta are likely to start around Rs 18 lakh and go up to Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the Toyota Innova Hycross, the all-new MPV will come in G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX (O) variants that might cost between Rs 22 lakh – Rs 30 lakh. Powering the model will be a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol and a 2.0L petrol strong hybrid unit that make 172bhp with 205Nm and 186bhp respectively. Toyota claims that the new Innova Hycross strong hybrid offers a mileage of 21.1kmpl.
