8. Tata Tiago Aktiv
Tata Motors is also working on an highly-accessorised version of the Tiago which could be called the Aktiv. Codenamed Tata Kite 4, the Tiago Aktiv will come with an accessory package that includes plastic cladding around the body, roof rails, sportier bumpers and stickers on sides. The cross version is likely to receive some additional features inside the cabin too, though no exact details on that are out yet.
While this might be launched as a limited edition initially, the company could continue this version if it receives good response. Though the company hasn’t yet revealed its launch details, we expect the Tiago Aktiv to go on sale during 2016 festive season. Since it will just be an accessorised version based on the regular hatchback, it will receive no mechanical changes. It will continue to source its power from the same 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.05-litre diesel engines.
