6. Tata Tiago Sport
The home-grown carmaker is also working on a performance version of the its newly-launched Tiago hatchback. Called the Tata Tiago Sport, this new variant will be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged Revotron engine tuned for delivering 120bhp and 170Nm of torque. With such high power figures, the Tiago Sport will take on the Maruti Baleno RS, Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and Fiat Punto Abarth. Apart a more powerful engine, the performance version of the hatchback will get a lowered suspension and stiffened damping. Coming to the design, the car might feature an all-new bumper with larger intakes, revised front grille with a new ‘S’ badge, new alloys, etc. Inside, we expect it to feature black leather upholstery with red stitches and accents.
