The more powerful model will give a tough fight to the likes of Honda City and Hyundai Verna.

Maruti Baleno facelift

Maruti Suzuki will also launch the facelift version of the Baleno premium hatchback in the first quarter of 2019. This model will be more powerful than the existing model, and is likely to be powered by 1.5-litre diesel engine. This will make it a more desirable product against its direct rival Hyundai Elite i20.

Maruti S-CROSS

Maruti’s premium crossover is currently equipped with a 1.3-litre MJD diesel engine and it feels underpowered compared to the rivals. The previous model was equipped with 1.6-litre diesel engine. It is expected that S-CROSS could get a more powerful 1.6-litre diesel engine.
