Upcoming Honda City 2020 Variant-Wise Features Leaked

The next-generation Honda City is all set to go on sale in India on July 15, 2020. Ahead of the launch, the variant-wise feature list of the car has been leaked. According to the leaked information, the new City 2020 will come in 3 variants – V, VX and ZX.

The upcoming new City V variant will come with projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail-lamps and 15-inch alloy wheels. This variant gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features. As standard, the vehicle gets 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, 3-point seatbelts for all 5 occupants, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist and a rear view camera.

The V variant also gets premium dual-tone interior scheme, fabric seat upholstery, front and rear door lining & armrest soft pad and chromed front and rear AC vents. It also gets sequential shift mode and position indicator (CVT Only). Talking about comfort and convenience, the new City gets cruise control, engine start/stop button, Honda Smart Key System with keyless remote, automatic AC, telescopic and tilt adjustable power steering, and power adjustable and foldable ORVMs.

The new City VX variant is equipped with all the features that are accessible in the V variant. Adding to it, this variant gets 6 airbags, auto dimming IRVMs, 8-speaker premium sound system, 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloys, and one-touch electric sunroof with auto pinch function. This model also gets 7-inch HD digital color TFT MID, steering scroll selector, walk-away auto locking, automatic headlamp control with light sensor, rear parking lamps and leather upholstery for steering and gear lever.

The top-spec ZX variant is equipped with several high-end comfort and convenience features such as 9 LED Array headlamps, integrated LED guide type front turn signals, LED front fog lamps, door mirrors auto-fold function, all-4 power windows one-touch up down with anti-pinch, remote opening & colsing of windows and sunroof, etc. The new City ZX also gets the very useful and safety feature – the Lane Watch Camera. The ZX also gets wooden garnish on the dashboard, perforated leather seat upholstery, front and rear center armrest, etc.

The new Honda City will be offered with 2 engine options – a 1.5L NA petrol and a 1.5L i-DTEC diesel. While the former is good for 121bhp and 145Nm, the oil burner produces 99bhp and 200Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and a 7-step CVT automatic with petrol. Interested buyers can book the new City online or via visiting Honda dealership.
