Maruti Baleno Facelift

Indo-Japanese brand will soon give a major makeover to its popular premium hatchback – Baleno. The Baleno facelift is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2019. The new model will receive comprehensive upgrades in the form of design changes and better equipped cabin. It is likely to receive new front design with prominent grille and revised headlamp. The hatchback will receive an upgraded infotainment system with modern smartphone connectivity features. Renault Kwid Facelift

French automaker, Renault is preparing a mid-life facelift of its smallest car – Kwid for the Indian market. The current car won’t meet the upcoming safety norms and would require a major makeover to continue sales in India. It is expected that Renault could make some changes to the platform for better structural integrity. Moreover, the new model will come equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and seat belt reminder as standard. The top-spec model will also receive rear parking camera and an upgraded version of the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Ford Figo Facelift

American automaker, Ford will give a major facelift to its smallest car – Figo in the Indian market. Though the exact launch date is yet to be announced, our sources suggest that the launch could take place in early 2019. It will receive subtle cosmetic upgrades to exterior and interior. However, major changes will be made under the hood. It will be powered by a new 1.2-litre Dragon petrol engine that produces 96bhp and 120Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a new 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed automatic.

Ford Endeavour Facelift

The next model in our list of upcoming facelift cars in India is the new 2018 Ford Endeavour facelift, which has been spotted several times on foreign soil. In fact, clear pictures and details of the SUV have already hit the internet. While the SUV is already on sale in select international markets, India launch of the new model could take place in the first quarter of 2019. Going by the pictures, it is visible that the SUV will receive minor aesthetic and feature upgrades.

In terms of design changes, the SUV will receive a new radiator grille, a new silver frame for the lower air-intake and new six-double spoke alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the SUV will get new features like engine start-stop button, engine auto start-stop function and keyless entry. If media reports are to be believed, the new Endeavour will also receive two new engines – 2.0-litre TDCi diesel and 2.2-litre TDCi Bi-Turbo diesel. Datsun Redi-GO Facelift

For people not in the know, Datsun Redi-GO is based on the same CMF-A platform that also underpins the Renault Kwid. Similar to the Kwid facelift, the Redi-Go facelift will receive dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminder as standard. Moreover, the company could improve the overall steel metal quality and add more features to the hatchback. It will continue to be offered with the existing 1.0-litre and 800cc petrol engines.
