Maruti Baleno Facelift

Indo-Japanese brand will soon give a major makeover to its popular premium hatchback – Baleno. The Baleno facelift is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2019. The new model will receive comprehensive upgrades in the form of design changes and better equipped cabin. It is likely to receive new front design with prominent grille and revised headlamp. The hatchback will receive an upgraded infotainment system with modern smartphone connectivity features. Datsun GO & GO+ Facelift

Nissan’s low-cost brand, Datsun will launch the updated versions of the GO and GO+ MPV in October 2018. Both the models share the Nissan’s V platform along with several design bits and features. The updated models will receive revised front grille, headlamps with LED DRLs and new front bumper. Other changes include new ORVMs with integrated blinkers, new alloy wheels, and new LED tail-lights. Inside the cabin, the small cars will receive new upholstery for seats, mobile docking system, power windows, power steering and USB port. The new GO Twins could also get a new touchscreen infotainment system. Powering the new cars is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine producing 78bhp and 104Nm of torque.

Ford Figo Facelift

American automaker, Ford will give a major facelift to its smallest car – Figo in the Indian market. Though the exact launch date is yet to be announced, our sources suggest that the launch could take place in late 2018 or early 2019. It will receive subtle cosmetic upgrades to exterior and interior. However, major changes will be made under the hood. It will be powered by a new 1.2-litre Dragon petrol engine that produces 96bhp and 120Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a new 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed automatic.

Ford Endeavour Facelift

The next model in our list of upcoming facelift cars in India is the new 2018 Ford Endeavour facelift, which has been spotted several times on foreign soil. In fact, clear pictures and details of the SUV have already hit the internet. While the global launch is scheduled in mid-2018, the new Endeavour could go on sale in India by the end of 2018 or in the first quarter of 2019. Going by the pictures, it is visible that the SUV will receive minor aesthetic and feature upgrades.

In terms of design changes, the SUV will receive a new radiator grille, a new silver frame for the lower air-intake and new six-double spoke alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the SUV will get new features like engine start-stop button, engine auto start-stop function and keyless entry. If media reports are to be believed, the new Endeavour will also receive two new engines – 2.0-litre TDCi diesel and 2.2-litre TDCi Bi-Turbo diesel. Ford Aspire facelift

In a bid to improve sales, Ford India is planning to give a major facelifts to its popular cars including Aspire and Figo. The new Aspire will receive several design changes, which will be in-line with new EcoSport. The cabin will receive a newly developed touchscreen infotainment system which will be sourced from EcoSport. Adding to it, both models will be powered by a newly developed 1.2-litre Dragon petrol engine.
