Renault Kwid facelift

Renault official confirms that they will focus on fewer products to drive sales in the Indian market. The company will bring the next-generation Duster SUV in 2019. Before Duster, Renault will launch the upgraded version of the Kwid and automatic Captur in the market. If media reports are to be believed, Renault will launch the Kwid facelift in the country in 2018. Kwid facelift will receive subtle design upgrades. Besides design changes, Renault will focus on improving the safety quotient of the hatchback. The current model only offers driver-side airbag on the top-spec model. Honda Jazz facelift

It was speculated that Honda will unveil the updated Jazz hatchback at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo; that didn’t happen. It is expected that the Jazz facelift will go on sale in the second half of this year. The 2018 Jazz has already been launched in the European markets. It will receive subtle design changes and upgraded cabin. Besides, the hatchback will offer better NVH levels. It will be powered by a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines.

Maruti Ciaz facelift

India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki will launch the thoroughly updated Ciaz mid-sized in India in the second half of 2018. The new model will be more premium than the current car. It will come with revised touchscreen infotainment system, which will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The new model is also speculated to get a newly developed 1.5-litre diesel engine. Besides, the mid-sized sedan will also receive a newly developed 1.5-litre VVT petrol engine producing 105bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the sedan could receive a newly developed 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox.

Ford Endeavour Facelift

The next model in our list of upcoming facelift cars in India is the new 2018 Ford Endeavour facelift, which has been spotted several times on foreign soil. In fact, clear pictures and details of the SUV have already hit the internet. While the global launch is scheduled in mid-2018, the new Endeavour could go on sale in India by the end of 2018 or in the first quarter of 2019. Going by the pictures, it is visible that the SUV will receive minor aesthetic and feature upgrades.

In terms of design changes, the SUV will receive a new radiator grille, a new silver frame for the lower air-intake and new six-double spoke alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the SUV will get new features like engine start-stop button, engine auto start-stop function and keyless entry. If media reports are to be believed, the new Endeavour will also receive two new engines – 2.0-litre TDCi diesel and 2.2-litre TDCi Bi-Turbo diesel. Ford Figo/Aspire facelift

In a bid to improve sales, Ford India is planning to give a major facelifts to its popular cars including Aspire and Figo. The new models will receive several design changes, which will be in-line with new EcoSport. The cabin will receive a newly developed touchscreen infotainment system which is expected to be sourced from EcoSport. Adding to it, both models will be powered by a newly developed 1.2-litre Dragon petrol engine.
