Next in the list of upcoming cars in India is the new generation Civic sedan. Likely to be unveiled at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, the new SUV will officially go on sale in the country next year. The new model is designed on a new chassis and looks completely different from its previous model. 38. Honda HRV
The Japanese automaker is also considering its global SUV – Honda HRV – for the Indian market. Media reports suggest that the SUV could make its India debut at the Auto Expo 2018 in February. It will be positioned between the CRV and BRV. Based on Jazz’s platform, the SUV be locally developed at Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. Featuring aggressive design, the SUV will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Kaptur.
The SUV will be powered by a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that is capable of producing 118bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. 39. Nissan Kicks
The Japanese automaker is reportedly planning to launch its global SUV – Kicks – in the Indian market. This is one of the most important upcoming cars in India in the growing SUV segment. It is based on Nissan’s V platform that also underpins the Micra hatchback. Likely to be unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018, the Kicks will rival against the Hyundai Creta. The SUV gets aggressive styling with honeycomb grille with chrome surrounding and angular sweptback headlamps. Other design highlights include floating roof with dual-paint job, flared wheel arches with body cladding, roof mounted spoiler, etc.

40. Hyundai Creta facelift
Launched in 2015, the Creta SUV will receive its first major upgrade in 2018. The company will launch the updated model by the mid next year. If reports are to be believed, the SUV will make its debut at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018. The Korean brand has already unveiled the updated Creta at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show. This popular SUV will get subtle styling upgrades, mostly on the front profile. It will get new cascade grille with chrome treatment, slightly revised headlamps, new tail-lamp and bumper.

41. Renault Megane sedan
The French automaker will again try its luck in the premium sedan segment with its global car – Megane sedan. It will come as a replacement for the Fluence sedan. Set to rival against the Hyundai Elantra, VW Jetta and Toyota Corolla Altis, the new Megane is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 15 lakh – Rs 18 lakh. 42. Renault RBC
French automaker is working on a 7-seater Crossover-ish MPV, which will be developed on Renault Kwid platform. Codenamed RBC, this model will challenge the upcoming new Maruti Ertiga. This MPV will be one of the most affordable MPVs in the country. The model is likely to share its engine specs from the Scala sedan. While the petrol version of the car will get a 105bhp, 1.5-litre engine, the oil bruner will be a 84bhp, 1.5-litre K9K unit. Both manual and AMT version of the car will be on offer. 43. Skoda Karoq
The Czech automaker had showcased its new global SUV – Karoq – in Stockholm, Sweden. It will also make its way to the Indian market in 2018. The model will come as a replacement for the Skoda Yeti, which failed to live up to the company’s expectation. Based on Volkswagen’s Group MQB platform, the SUV will rival against the likes of Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson.
In India, the Karoq will be powered by a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine. This engine is capable of producing 148bhp of maximum power and 340Nm of torque. 44. Jeep Renegade
The American automaker will launch the long-awaited Renegade compact SUV in the country in 2018. The SUV has already been spotted several times during its test rounds on Indian roads. It is based on the same Small Wide 4×4 platform that also underpins the Compass and Fiat 500X. The vehicle shares most of its design elements from the Wrangler SUV.

45. Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze
After launching the Tiguan SUV, Volkswagen is now planning to launch a new compact SUV in the Indian car market. It will be based on the VW Group’s MQB-A0 platform that also underpins the new generation Polo hatchback. The SUV will rival against the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster/Renault Kaptur and the Honda HRV. First previewed as the T-Cross Breeze concept at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the compact SUV will be positioned below the T-ROC SUV.

46 Honda Amaze 2018
Japanese automaker, Honda is preparing the new version of its smallest sedan – Amaze. This compact sized sedan will make its debut at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, while the launch could take place in mid-2018. The sedan will receive several exterior design changes and better equipped cabin. The Honda Amaze 2018 will be based on the versatile Brio platform that also underpins the BRV.
