Here will bring you a list of top 5 affordable upcoming automatic cars in India  –

New Hyundai Santro AMT

Korean automaker, Hyundai is all set to launch an all-new entry level hatchback – codenamed AH – in the Indian market. If reports are to be believed, the new model could be named Hyundai Santro. The hatchback is likely to get a new 1.0-litre petrol engine. Besides manual gearbox, the Santro will become Hyundai’s first car in India to feature an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) unit. We believe the AMT version of the Santro hatchback could be priced at Rs 4 lakh.

Maruti Future S

India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki had unveiled the Future S Concept at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. Featuring a crossover look, this concept previews the company’s future entry-level car. This model is expected to feature the brand’s 1.0-litre K-Series petrol engine that produces 67bhp and 91Nm of torque. For transmission duties, this model will come with a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.

Maruti WagonR AMT

India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki will launch the next-generation Wagon R tall-boy hatchback in the second half of 2018. The new model is based on Suzuki’s new-generation HEARTECT platform that also underpins the Swift and Dzire. The hatchback will continue with tall-boy design, but modern features. The new model will be lighter and more fuel efficient than the previous model. It will be powered by an updated version of the current 1.0-litre K10 petrol engine that produces 67bhp and 91Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the hatchback will have a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). For people not in the known, Maruti Suzuki will also introduce a 7-seater version of the WagonR. The seven-seater model will also be offered with AMT option.

2018 Maruti Ciaz CVT

Maruti Suzuki is also preparing the thoroughly updated version of the Ciaz mid-sized sedan. Likely to be launched in the second half of 2018, the updated Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will receive several design changes and new features. It will also get an electric panoramic sunroof. The sedan will be offered with two new engines – 1.5-litre diesel and 1.5-litre petrol. The petrol version will be equipped with a newly developed CVT gearbox. Besides, the sedan will get a newly developed six-speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra KUV100 AMT

Homegrown UV maker, Mahindra had launched the facelifted KUV100 NXT in the second half of 2018. Now, the company is now planning to launch the automatic version of the KUV100 in the country. Details about the automatic vehicle are yet to be announced. The SUV will be available with the existing set of engines – 1.2-litre mFalcon petrol and 1.2-litre dFalcon diesel. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels will come as standard.
