Up To Rs 48,000 Benefits On 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Launched a few days before the lockdown, the 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift is now available with benefits of up to Rs 48,000. The scheme includes a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of 25,000 and additional benefits of Rs 3,000. The updated model lineup comes in 4 manual and 3 AMT variants priced from Rs 5.89 lakh to Rs 8.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
The biggest change made to the new Dzire is the new 1.2L Dualjet K12C petrol engine that will soon be introduced on the Swift facelift. The new BS6-compliant gasoline motor is claimed return power worth 90bhp, which is 7bhp more than its replacement. The carmaker has calibrated the engine with cooled EGR system, higher compression ratio and piston cooling jet.
The compact sedan continues to come with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox options. Its manual version delivers a segment-leading mileage of 23.26kmpl and the AGS model promises 24.12kmpl. Noticeable changes have been made to its interior. While the new wood finish and dual-tone fabric upholstery enhance its premium look, the updated SmartPlay Studio infotainment system improves user experience. The compact sedan also receives cruise control and colour TFT MID display. The info unit supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Some of its design changes include updated front grille, new bumpers, revised fog lamps, new air dam with chrome surround and newly-designed alloy wheels.
