UM Motorcycles, American automaker is planning to mark a strong presence at the 14th edition of Delhi Auto Expo in February. The company will showcase a scrambler and a cafe racer at the Auto Expo 2018. Both models will be based on the Renegade platform. Adding to it, the company could also showcase a dual-purpose motorcycle. If reports are to be believed, the company will unveil the UM Renegade electric at the Auto Expo 2018.
For people not in the known UM had showcased the electric version of the Renegade motorcycle at the 2017 EICMA. The Renegade electric is powered by a water-cooled electric motor. Though mechanical details are yet to be revealed, but it is claimed to offer power output close to that of a 600cc motorcycle. UM Renegade Electric Launch Date
Scheduled to be unveiled at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, the Renegade Electric is expected to be launched in the Indian market before the end of 2018-19 fiscal year. We will update our readers as soon as UM announces anything on the same.
UM Renegade Electric Price in India

UM Renegade Electric Specifications
This new electric motorcycle is developed on an all-new platform, which will also underpin future e-bikes. This motorcycle is powered by a 30kw motor, which churns out 50bhp of maximum power. The electric motor is developed by the Italian company Tacita Electric Motorcycles, and the Renegade Electric is claimed to offer a power comparable to that of a 600cc bike.
The electric bike features a five-speed transmission and water cooling system. This new cruiser is claimed to have a range of 150kms in a single charge. Adding to it, there is a provision of a fast charging system, which will charge the motor 80 per cent in just 40 minutes.
