TVS Motor Company has rolled a special edition of the its popular commuter – Star City+. Called the TVS Star City+ Kargil Edition, the new model has been priced at Rs 54,399 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company says that the TVS Star City+ Kargil Edition pays tribute to the spirit and attitude of the Indian soldier that resides in every Indian citizen. It has been inspired by the unforgiving Kargil war terrain and snowy peaks. No changes have been made to engine of the bike. The TVS Star City+ Kargil Edition continues to source its power from the same 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making a peak power of 8bhp and a maximum torque of 8.7Nm. The regular TVS Star City+ comes in 7 dual-tone colour options, namely, Grey Black, Black Red, Chocolate Gold, White Gold, Black Gold, Black Blue and Black Silver. The standard paint schemes include Matte Grey, Titanium Grey, Oscar Black, Show Stopper Blue and Celebrity Scarlet.
