TVS Motor Company has introduced a new Matte Purple colour scheme to its popular Scooty Zest 110 scooter. Interestingly, the price of the new TVS Scooty Zest 110 Matte Purple is similar to the other matte colour models – i.e. Rs 49,211 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new colour variant was showcased at the recently-concluded Auto Expo 2018.
Now, the scooter’s Matte Series is available in a total of five shades – the new Matte Purple, Matte Black, Matte Blue, Matte Red and Matte Yellow. The TVS Scooty Zest 110 Matte Purple gets matte purple colour bodywork along with rear view mirrors. The dual-tone (Beige and Brown) seat with a Silver Oak finish interior panels enhances its sporty look. While the grab rail has silver finish, the wheels and suspension are painted in black shade. No mechanical changes have been made to the vehicle. Similar to the standard model, the TVS Scooty Zest 110 Matte Purple derives its power from a 109.7cc single-cylinder CVTi engine that’s good enough for 7.88bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Carrying a kerb weight of 97kg, the TVS Zest sources its stopping power from a 110mm front and a 130mm rear drum brake. The scooter rides on 10-inch wheels fitted with 90-section tubeless tyres. It has a fuel tank capacity of 5-litres.
