TVS Scooty Pep+ Gets 2 New Matte Colours
The TVS Scooty Pep has completed its 25 successful years in the country. In order to commemorate the occasion, the two-wheeler maker has introduced the Scooty Pep Plus in two new matte colour schemes – Coral Matte and Aqua Matte. Besides the new shades, the vehicle gets new body graphics, a 3D emblem and a textured seat.
Compared to the standard colours’ model, the new TVS Scooty Pep Plus Matte Edition is pricier around Rs 1,500. Painted in the Coral Matte and Aqua Matte shades, the two-wheeler costs Rs 44,764 (ex-showroom).
The Scooty Pep comes in a choice of 9 standard colour schemes, namely, Nero Blue, Revving Red, Nero Brown, Vivacious Purple, Frosted Black, Glittery Gold and Princess Pink. No other changes have been made to the vehicle.
The TVS Scooty Pep Plus Matte Edition comes with the same 87.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine pushing out a peak power of 4.9bhp and 5.8Nm of torque. Benefited with the multicurve ignition system, the powertrain is claimed to deliver better pickup with reduced throttle force.
Some of its key features include a mobile charger socket, a USB port, side-stand alarm, under-seat storage, front bag hook, under seat bag hooks and a glove box.
