TVS Motor Company has recorded a positive sales growth of 18 percent in February 2021. The company sold 2,97,747 units in February 2021 as against 2,53,261 units in the same month last year.
The two wheeler sales grew by 21% in February 2021. The company sold 2,84,581 units in February 2021 as against 2,35,891 units sold in same month last year. Domestic sales increased by 15% with 1,95,145 units delivered in February 2021 as against 1,69,684 units in February 2020.
TVS sold 1,37,259 motorcycles in February 2021, registering a positive growth of 16%. The company had delivered 118,514 units in February 2020. On the other hand Scooter sales of the Company grew by 56% registering 95,525 units in February 2021 as against 60,633 units in February 2020. Three-wheeler of the Company registered sales of 13,166 units in February 2021 as against 17,370 units in February 2020.
TVS Motor Company is aiming to further increase its market share by introducing multiple new products. The company will soon launch the 2021 TVS Star City Plus with BS6 engine. Adding to it, TVS is also working on an all-new power cruiser based on the Zeppelin concept. Rumoured to be called the TVS Zeppelin R, the new motorcycle will be positioned against the Bajaj Dominar 250.
