TVS Motor Company has announced that it will launch a new product on August 23, 2018 in Chennai. The two-wheeler maker, however, hasn’t yet revealed the product name and details. According to a fresh report, the company will introduce an all-new 110cc commuter motorcycle – the TVS Radeon. The new motorcycle will join the 100cc bandwagon with the TVS Star City Plus and TVS Victor, and put up against the Hero Passion XPro and Honda Livo.
Just to jog your memory, the Chennai-based bikemaker showcased the 125cc Radeon commuter at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2012. However, the coming one will feature a 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine that’s good enough for 9.5bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.4Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Compared to its 110cc siblings, the TVS Radeon will have premium body graphics and more features to offer. It might get an all digital instrument panel along with smart connected features such as satellite navigation and a dedicated app as we have seen on the TVS NTorq. As of now, the design and feature details of the bike are scanty. Though, we believe that the new TVS Radeon bike will share some of its features with its 125cc concept including black grab rail, large pillion seat, sharp taillamp design, stylish fuel tank, electric start feature, clear turn indicators and tubular frame design.
