TVS Proto Electric Scooter Launch Date
In late 2017, TVS President and CEO, KN Radhakrisnan had confirmed that the new TVS electric scooter will be launched in coming six to nine months. While the exact launch date hasn’t yet confirmed by the company, it is likely to hit showrooms in the first half of this year.
Prior to its official launch, the TVS Proto Electric will make its public debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. The event will begin on 7th February in Greater Noida. TVS Proto Electric Scooter Price in India
In terms of pricing and positioning, the new TVS electric scooter will sit above the Jupiter and Wego. Featuring a new electric motor and a pack of features, the TVS Proto Electric is estimated to be priced around 60,000. Read – TVS Rockz 125 Scooter Is Coming To India
TVS Proto Electric Scooter Design
To be offered as a premium product, the new Proto Electric scooter could share some of its design bits with Jupiter. Similar to its prototype, the production-spec version could feature TVS’s signature badge on the instruments and handlebar integrated inbound wiring and extra buttons.
The scooter will run on alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres. While drum brakes will come as standard, the front disc brake could be optional. Suspension mechanism will include telescopic front forks and a new monoshock unit. Read: TVS Ntorq 125 – All You Need To Know
