TVS May Bring A New Bike On January 23 – Zeppelin?
TVS Motor Company has sent a block your date invite to the media for 23rd to 25th January, 2020. While the bikemaker remains tight-lipped about the product, it’s expected to be the production version of the TVS Zeppelin cruiser concept that broke cover at the 2018 Auto Expo. The 220cc bike concept looks quite muscular in flesh and is likely to put up against the Bajaj Avenger 220.
At the heart of the production-ready TVS Zeppelin cruiser bike will be a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine boosted with fuel injection system, the company’s ISG (integrated starter) motor and an e-Boost technology.
Suspension setup of the TVS Zeppelin cruiser will include upside-down front forks and a monoshock rear unit. It will derive braking power from front and rear disc brakes. The bike will also get dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard fitment. Read – BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 To Get New Digital Speedo, Dual-tone Colour
The production version of the TVS Zeppelin is likely to stay true to its concept. Painted in brown and matt black shade, the cruiser concept features a retro-styled fuel tank and the flat-track style handlebar. It runs on lightweight spoked wheels and tubeless tyres.
Features such as lowered bars, two-up seat and feet forward highway pegs will provide aggressive yet comfortable riding posture. The concept also features LED headlamp, a digital speedometer, a bio-electric key and an HD action camera mounted on the headlamp nacelle.
