TVS Jupiter Grande Edition To Launch This Festive Season – Report

The TVS Jupiter Grande edition features a full LED headlamp and a semi-digital speedometer.

TVS Motor Company will soon introduce a special edition of its highly popular 110cc Jupiter scooter. Called the TVS Jupiter Grande Edition, the new model is reported to go on sale during this festive season. Prior to its official launch, the company has begun dispatching the scooter to its dealerships. Painted in new Metallic Blue shade, the new TVS Jupiter Grande edition features a ‘Grande’ badge on the front apron. The handlebar and foot rest area have beige paint scheme, while the front fender has a chrome strip. One of the major highlight of the special edition are the full LED headlamp and the semi-digital speedometer.

The digital inset shows trip meter readouts, clock and a fuel gauge. It also has low fuel light warning along with Eco and Power mode lights. At the rear section, the scooter gets high-beam and indicator. The tan leather finished seat with diamond stitching further differentiate it from the regular model. Since it will be a special edition, no mechanical changes will be made to the scooter. The TVS Jupiter Grande will feature the same 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine paired to a CVT gearbox. The motor dishes out a peak power of 8bhp (7.99PS) at 7500rpm and 8Nm of torque at 5500rpm. For suspension duties, it will carry the same 30mm telescopic front forks and a gas-charged rear monoshock setup. At the pricing front, the TVS Jupiter Grande Edition will be slightly more expensive than the ZX variant that costs Rs 54,436 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new model will take on the likes of Honda Activa 5G DLX, Hero Maestro Edge (dual-tone) and Yamaha Alpha (disc brake variant).
