TVS Jupiter Grande Becomes The First 110cc Connected Scooter
TVS Motor Company has updated its highly popular 110cc scooter – TVS Jupiter Grande. The scooter’s new model receives first-in-segment smartphone connectivity feature called SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity system. The SmartXonnect technology enables rider to connect iOS and Android supported smartphone and access multiple features including trip report, text and call notification, over speeding alert, etc. The same connectivity system has already been available on the TVS NTorq 125.
Besides the smartphone connectivity system, the 2019 TVS Jupiter Grande gets a new semi-digital speedometer showing information such as trip meter, fuel indicator, odometer, helmet reminder, service reminder and more. The new Jupiter Grande retains the original design and features. Though, it receives a few cosmetic changes such a 3D emblem in dual-tone finish, chrome garnishing on the rear view mirrors and front fender, new machine-cut alloy wheels, beige interior panels and a cross-stitched seat. No mechanical changes have been made to the scooter. The 2019 TVS Jupiter Grande sources its power from the same 109.7cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine pushing out a peak power of 7.9bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
