TVS Motor Company has launched the all-new TVS iQube pure electric scooter in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, the iQube Electric Scooter is claimed to be equipped with advanced electric drivetrain and next-gen TVS SmartXonnect platform. This urban scooter will directly challenge the recently launched Bajaj Chetak Electric. Here are five things you need to know about the newly launched urban scooter – TVS iQube Electric –
Powertrain, Range & Charging Time
The TVS iQube comes fitted with a 4.4 kW electric motor, which is claimed to offer a range of 75kms. The scooter accelerates to 40kmph from standstill in 4.2 seconds before hitting a top speed of 78kmph. The scooter’s battery can be fully charged in 5 hours via a 5 Ampere socket. Adding to it, the TVS iQube EV comes with two riding modes – Power and Economy.
Connected Technologies
The TVS iQube Electric features the new TVS SmartXonnect platform with advanced TFT cluster and iQube app. The scooter has multiple features including Geo-fencing, Navigation Assist, Remote Battery Charge Status, Last park location, Incoming call alerts/SMS alerts, etc.
Adding to it, the scooter comes with several comfort and convenience features like Q-park assist, day and night display and regenerative braking.
Design Highlights
The TVS iQube is a neo-retro styled electric scooter with design elements shared with popular TVS scooters including Ntorq and Jupiter. Upfront is a black cowl between the handles, while crystal-clear LED headlamps with U-shaped LED DRLs are mounted on the apron. It comes with all-LED tail-maps and an illuminating logo.
Bookings and Other Details
Interested buyers can book the TVS iQube via TVS official website or by visiting select dealerships at a token amount of Rs 5000. TVS will provide dedicated customer relationship assistance for purchase and support. Adding to it, TVS is also giving attractive schemes to customers by TVS credit.

TVS Motor Company has officially announced that the scooter will be available in Bengaluru from January 27, 2020. Interested buyers can book the scooter on 10 dealerships in Bengaluru. The scooter will go on sale in other metro cities at a later date.
