The motorcycle is available in two paint jobs – Matte Black and Red. Upfront is a tall wind screen that act as a shield to rider. The carbon fibre work on the concept is not offered on the production model, instead it gets a more conventional option. Powering the motorcycle is a 313cc, single-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed gearbox, which sends the power to the rear wheel.

TVS Akula 310 Design

Designed with inputs from TVS’ race drivers that come under TVS Motor Company and BMW Motarrad joint venture, the Akula 310 pays homage to the company 33 years racing history. While the production-ready version retains most of the design and styling elements from its concept avatar, TVS has added and remove some of the features for a more aggressive look. The new TVS fully-faired bike is based on the highly stiff space frame chassis and aluminium sub-frame. Though, the production model misses out on the carbon fibre body work that we have seen on the concept version.

The cast alloy swing arm on the bike not only aide handling but it also enhances ride quality. In addition to the above-mentioned elements, the bike also gets twin headlamps and daytime running lights with LED units. There is a tall windscrseen in front that will act as a protection shield to the rider during wind bursts. The golden yellow paint on the upside down front forks adds to the sporty flair. Other bits like the exhaust canister have been borrowed from the BMW G310R, built jointly by TVS and BMW. The raised positioning of the clip on in turn works in the favour of the bike, making it more road focused.
