Japanese automaker, Toyota had showcased the Yaris mid-sized sedan at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. In fact, Toyota dealers have already started taking pre-orders for the car at a token amount of Rs 50,000. While the launch is still 1 month away, Toyota has started promotional activities for the sedan. Japanese automaker has released a new video teaser of the Toyota Yaris sedan, which reveals some of its segment leading features.

Toyota Yaris is claimed to feature at least 12 segment first features. Feature list include roof-mounted air-conditioning vents with ambient illumination, electrically adjustable driver seat, acoustic and vibration control glass, adjustable rear centre headrest, 60:40 split rear seats, 4.2-inch TFT MID with Eco wallet, hand/air gesture control for the infotainment system, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-wheel disc brakes, front parking sensors, 7 airbags and tail-lamps with LED line guide. Other features will include projector headlamps with LED line guide, LED daytime running lights, shark-fin antenna, rear power outlets, rear sunshade and piano black interior. The new Toyota Yaris sedan will be powered by a 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine that is likely to produce around 105bhp of power and 140Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a CVT unit. The Yaris sedan will be positioned between the Etios and Corolla Altis. It will rival the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and others in its league.
